Piet Pienter & Bert Bibber

A well-known comic in Belgium. It involves the adventures of two young single males. The comic contains many puns that are typical Flemish and are difficult to translate (village names, ads, etcetera). Only two of the comics were issued in color. The readers preferred the tow-coulor prints. Important secondarycharacters of the stories are: Susan (millionaire), professor Kumulus, Theo Flitser (reporter) and professor Hilarius Warwinkel.

Creator Pom (Jozef van Hove) is most certainly one of the best and most complete draughtsman in Flanders.

Recently v.z.w. Stripbeurs Middelkerke issued two stories by POM that were not published before. Het vredeswapen (issued in 1994) and Het gestolen vredeswapen (issued in 1995).
