This is an overview of the course Subareas of Natural Language Processing (in Swedish: Språkteknologiska delområden) that was taught in the Winter term of 1996 at the department of Linguistics at the University of Uppsala.

The course will be graded by practical exercises that students will have to perform for the four topics.
