2.5 Correction with a statistical grammar
We will correct the output of the noisy channel by using the grammar.
We will proceed in the following way:
- we parse the noisy channel output with the modified grammar,
- for every expression we save the most probable parse,
- this gives us a collection of parse trees and in these
trees we replace all daughters of LSQ nodes with the
open bracket [ and
- after this the leaves of the trees contain a corrected version of
the expression.
We will process a list of 1000 expressions.
