Internet Tour de France Game 1995

The Internet Tour de France Game 1995 is a competition organised on Internet in which participants attempt to predict the results of the stages of the Tour de France 1995. In each stage the participants can earn points and the person that has collected the largest number of points after the Tour de France is the winner of this game. If you want an example of the competition, you can take a look at the Tour de France Game 1994. These pages include a guestbook with comments of the visitors. You can enter something in the guestbook if you want.

The number of participants is 242.

More information about the Tour de France can be found on Steven Sheffield's Tour de France 1995 page. Patrick Goebel's VeloNet page contains more information about cycling in general and at VeloNews you can also find information about the Tour De France.

From July 1 to July 24, 1995 the Dutch teletext service NOS-Teletekst has offered a sequence of news pages about the Tour de France. The pages were updated frequently and as far as I know they were the fastest way to get the results of the stages if you are not able to receive radio or television reports. Texts were in Dutch but perhaps the cyclists' names are enough to get a general picture. The pages are removed by now.
